Start free, pay by card when you need more. Prices in euros per month, excluding VAT. No contracts, no sales calls: upgrade, change or cancel in your dashboard.

A document is one invoice generated with POST /v1/invoices or one file checked with /validate or /extract. Requests that fail don't count. Calls made with a test key are free and never count.

Every plan includes

• All formats. Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung (UBL and CII), Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 and plain EN 16931.
• Validation on the official rules with every document: KoSIT, CEN and Peppol Schematron, PDF/A-3 checks, errors as readable JSON.
• Your branding. Ready-made invoice templates with your logo, colors and footer, or your own HTML template.
• Live and test keys. Test mode is free and unlimited for development and CI.
• Hosted in Germany. One EU server, no US processors in the document path. Payments through Paddle.
• Document log. Re-download every generated PDF and XML and its validation report from the dashboard, for 90 days on paid plans and 7 days on the free plan.
• Email support at [email protected], answered by the person who builds Invoir.
• Rule updates done for you. New XRechnung, Peppol and Factur-X versions land without a change on your side; every report names the versions used.

Questions

How is VAT handled, and who sends the invoice?

Paddle is our merchant of record: you buy from Paddle, Paddle charges VAT where it applies (enter your VAT ID at checkout for reverse charge in the EU), and Paddle emails you a proper invoice for every payment. All invoices are also in the dashboard.

Which payment methods work?

Card, PayPal and the local methods Paddle offers in your country, in EUR. There is no invoicing on terms and no annual plan yet.

Where is my data?

Everything runs on a server in Nuremberg, Germany, behind Cloudflare. Files sent to the validator are processed in memory and never stored; generated invoices are kept for the document-log period above so you can download them again, then deleted. Card details go to Paddle; we never see them. Details in the privacy policy.

What happens when I go over my plan?

On the free plan the API answers 429 quota_exceeded until the 1st of the next month. On paid plans you keep going: extra documents are billed at your plan's per-document rate at the start of the following month, to the same payment method, and show up in your dashboard before they are charged.

Can I change plans?

Any time in the dashboard. An upgrade applies immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of the month; a downgrade applies immediately and the difference is credited to your next bill.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in the dashboard, without talking to anyone. Your plan runs until the end of the paid month, then the account returns to the free plan with your keys and settings intact. If you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, email us for a full refund (see the refund policy).

Is test mode really free?

Yes. Calls made with a test key never count and are never billed. Test documents are marked as test documents.

I need more than 10,000 documents a month.

The Scale plan keeps going at €0.01 per extra document, so 50,000 documents cost €479 a month with no further steps. Write to [email protected] if you have a very different pattern.
